South Africa Edges Out Australia in Ladies International Match at Bromelton House

Bromelton House played host to an exciting Ladies International Match on Sunday, 3 August 2025, where the South African team secured a narrow 4–3 victory over Australia.
The match began with a dominant first chukka from South Africa, taking a commanding 4–1 lead by the bell. The Australian women fought back strongly, closing the gap in the final stages, but ultimately fell just short in a thrilling finish.
Awards and Honours
- Best Playing Pony (APF Bromelton House 2025): Aria, played by Charlie Spilsbury and kindly loaned by Morgan Ruig.
- Golden Pony (South African Team Award): Onyx, owned by Mark Huebner.
- Most Valuable Player: Charlie Spilsbury.
