Peter Cudmore was a hugely successful polo player during the 1960’s and 70’s where he regularly teamed with Sinclair Hill to win Australia’s most coveted trophies.

Cudmore was renowned internationally as Australia’s best number 4 and Sinclair Hill attributed much of his success to playing with Peter minding the back.

Peter won the Dudley Cup 8 times and the Australasian Gold Cup 3 times. He also played for Australia on 8 occasions captaining the team in three of those matches.

Peter was also an influential figure off-the-field taking a keen interest in polo administration.
