Reminder: Nominations Close 31st December 2024.

The Australian Polo Federation is calling for nominations for a Womens World Championship Squad to represent Australia.

The II FIP Womens World Championships will be held in Italy, at the Punta Ala Polo Club from June 20th to 28th, 2025.

Australia will represent Zone D in the Womens World Championship, without a playoff.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP DETAILS:

  • Dates: 20th - 28th June, 2025.
  • Venue: Punta Ala Polo Club, Italy.
  • Handicap:  Between 12 and 16 Goals (women's handicap).
  • Teams: Italy, USA, Brazil, Germany and Australia.

NOMINATION DETAILS:

  • Players are required to have a women's handicap of maximum 6 goals, minimum 1 goal.
  • Players need to be Australian citizens.
  • Expenses to be covered for World Championships: The APF will provide return flights from Sydney, for the team. Once the players are in Italy, the accommodation, food and beverage, entertainment and transport to all events and functions will be the responsibility of the Italy as host country.
  • Peter White has been appointed as Team manager.
  • Individuals selected will be required to be available for matches/practices planned to be in the Hawkesbury zone during April 2025.
  • Australia team nominations close 31st December, 2024.
