New Disciplinary Regulations and Procedures 2023

29 Dec 2023

The APF has introduced new Disciplinary Regulations and Procedures. The new Regulations update and replace the 2018 Disciplinary Regulations and set out the procedures and penalties to be applied to all disciplinary incidents. This includes breaches of the Australian Rules of Polo, as well as unsportsmanlike and bad behaviour at clubs, tournaments, practice chukkas, coaching schools and any other Polo events covered by the Rules of Polo. They apply to players and officials actions both on and off the field.

The Regulations set out the procedures involved and the penalties to be applied firstly at a Club/Tournament level, and then at a higher level involving a State Disciplinary Committee if necessary. There is also a right of appeal to the APF in certain circumstances.

The new Disciplinary Regulations and Procedures can be found on the APF website CLICK HERE and came into effect on 8 December 2023.
