Play Polo in Manipur, India

The APF has received an invitation for a team (5 players & 1 coach/ manager) to participate in the 8th Manipur Polo International, November 22-29, 2014 at Manipur, India. APF are calling for expressions of interest from Clubs, teams & players. The tournament is played on Manipuri Ponies (12 to 13 hands) under Indian Polo Association Rules (same as FIP rules) with teams around 8 to 9 goals. This year is the 150th Anniversary of First Polo Match played between Manipur and British Polo teams in March 1864.
Travel costs to India will be at the players/teams own expense, thereafter all expenditures of the team till their departure will be borne by the Manipur Horse Riding & Polo Association.
