FOLLY LODGE AUTUMN LEAGUE: Results & Report

The Folly Lodge Autumn Tournament was played in league fashion over 2 consecutive weekends with 4 teams in each division. The event received considerable support from the local community.
FLPC also hosted a Junior Polo League where 8 local under 18 FLPC members played their inaugural Tournament. The teams were sponsored by Centenial Vinyard and The Royal Hotel of Bowral.

The 0 Goal Final was a closely fought match between the Highlanders (captain Bill Miller) and the Folly Lodge team (captain Chris McCarthy) up till the start of the third chukka where ½ a goal separated the teams.
The final score was 9 to 3 ½ in favor of the Highlanders

6 goal Final
The 6 Goal Final was an edge of the seat final between Folly Lodge (Captain David “Dunn Deal” Dunn) and McKinnon (Captain Dick Rodgers) where the Folly Lodge team ran out winners by 6 goals to 4.
The Folly Lodge team raced to an early 5 to 2 goal lead at the end of the 3rd chukka and McKinnon team ran out of time to make up the difference.
Sub Final
Twin Oaks 8 def. Millamolong 7 ½
The Folly Lodge 6 goal team was undefeated for the tournament. The Tournament was well supported by professional players: Hamish McGregor, Richard Rawlins, Adam Meally and Angus Campbell
